These are unofficial, and unverified. The cue sheet handed out at the start is the master.
With that said, here are Dave's notes on the GPS files:

1) the start/end can be funky because your road is not on the google map
2) It's possible that I overshot some intersections as I clicked along the route
3) there are no waypoints defined for Controls -- monitor the cue sheet and brevet card
4) when loading these things, I do find that TCX files behave better ... as long as your device supports TCX like the Garmin 705
5) it's possible that a device loading these things, especially a GPX file with auto-routing turned on, will do some of it's own "best" routing -- user beware !
6) the cue sheet is golden, the gps file is an aid
7) no promises as to accuracy !
8) no detours have been programmed
