Dart Populaire

The Start Location for this event is Ends at 152 Clinton Ave, Cortland, NY.

The traditional team randonnée format is to ride from one point to another, like an arrow (or dart), flying from the archer toward the bull’s-eye.

  1. Develop a 120k (or longer) route that ends at 152 Clinton Ave, Cortland, NY (the common finish). Team randonnée event routes are usually point-to- point. However, a large circuit may be used, such as to make a tour of a particular region. (This has the benefit of not requiring team transportation to some faraway starting/ending point.) Full details of route design are in the rules for each event on the RUSA website. (Per regulations, teams using essentially the same route will need to start at least an hour apart. Teams starting far apart but finishing on the same roads don’t have to worry about this type of separation.)
  2. Find 3-5 RUSA members and give your team a name (a tandem team counts as a single member) and at least three members must finish together to receive official credit. No one receives ride credit if they don’t finish with their team.
  3. Contact Pete Dusel (our RBA) with your team's intention to ride.
